Best cinnamon and chromium supplement12/31/2023 I personally take two capsules of Ceylon cinnamon every day. There's a type of cinnamon called Ceylon cinnamon that is a different type of cinnamon and that is actually more adequate for taking in large quantities. That being said, I want to caution you that there's some research that shows that the type of cinnamon that you put on food is not healthy for you if it's eaten in large quantities, and can have long-term health effects. You can see that in some of the sarcastic replies that you got as well. So there's a backlash against false remedies. Please, don't be hasty to condemn this as a supplement before trying it properly.Īs others have mentioned, sometimes people look for magical cures and cinnamon is one of the things that is touted. But you have to actually EAT it in a meaningful quantity, and not just sprinkle a little on your food- like several full teaspoonfuls of it a day. I have found cinnamon really does wonders for improved insulin sensitivity. Taking cinnamon is one of the oldest supplements for bodybuilding (not specifically for diabetics), because increased insulin sensitivity means less fat deposits and more protein synthesis. And I'm 6'3 and weigh 84kg (about 12 % BF). My insulin sensitivity is extremely high- these days, I often take only 10 units a day- and very seldom more than 20 a day (and that's only when I deliberately increase it to make weights training more effective). My blood sugar is well controlled almost all the time. I would like to offer an alternative experience. The Biotin is also another great inclusion which works great in combination with the chromium to support the optimal function of the metabolism and also contribute to an improvement in blood glucose levels. This high quality supplement also includes a decent amount of Chromium which works well in combination with the cinnamon to contribute to a further improvement in insulin sensitivity and blood glucose levels in addition to reducing my cravings and appetite when included during a range of my low carbohydrate based dieting phases. Cinnamon provides some other decent benefits such as reducing the chance of suffering from heart disease by lowering bad LDL (Low Density Lipoprotein) forms of cholesterol and has anti-inflammatory properties which make it great to consume on a regular basis to contribute to your optimal general health and wellbeing. I tend to use high quality cinnamon based supplements like this in combination with compounds such as Berberine, ALA and Banaba Leaf Extract to form a more complete DIY nutrient partitioning supplement stack to enhance my results in gaining more lean mass and strength during all of my high carbohydrate based dieting phases, i also feel that these compounds work well in combination with one another prior to some of my high carbohydrate based refeed meals to contribute to an improvement in muscle fullness and energy levels to allow for me to have more productive weight based workouts. Cinnamon based supplements like this work very well when included into a range of my higher carbohydrate based recomping and mass gaining phases to aid with the shuttling of the glucose from consumed carbohydrates into the muscle tissue to support optimal muscle repair and growth to enhance my results in gaining more lean muscle mass whilst minimizing fat gain, this also works very well to contribute to an improvement in insulin sensitivity to improve overall blood sugar levels and aid with general health and wellbeing by reducing the chance of suffering from type 2 diabetes later in life.
